At the request of several clients we created the Make and/or Manage Your Own Website 2-Day Workshop.
This hugely popular course is for non-technical people who want to make regular changes to their websites.
You will create, from scratch, a new website (even if you have one already) and have it live on the web by Friday at 4.30pm!
Over two consecutive days attendees learn how to create and/or edit their company's (or their own) website. Some of the topics covered are:
- The fundamentals of a website, correct design and function.
- The four steps of website creation: Domain Registration, Web Designing, Web Hosting and Site Promotion.
- Current trends in design and technology.
- Using a website editor (We use Expression Web in the class but also cover Dreamweaver and others ).
- Editing and using images
- Search Engine Optimisation
- Website Visitor Tracking
- Attendees' own website issues
- Attendees' own website editing
A novel feature of the workshop is that each attendee creates their own live website.
